You were seated next to Dust on a shaky wooden bench outside near the town, the broad seat located near the passageway to Snowdin while the two of you relaxed under the looming trees above. Cloudy skies with grey clouds rolled in slowly with the dim sun hiding behind their presence while faint snow started to drop softly down onto the forest field as they gathered into small piles one by one. Breezes followed in every so often, brushing past the duos’ face with a cold air filling the surroundings with you admiring the scenery as the hail twirled around gently through the atmosphere.
With your gaze on the view around you, you were caught faintly off guard when Dust had remarked to you in a serene air in his voice while his hidden skull turned to you slightly, his arms crossed stiffly onto his ribcage.
“Can I show you something, [Y/N]? With no judging?”
You nodded slowly, raising an eyebrow with growing curiosity inside of yourself while promising you wouldn’t judge for what he was gonna present and handle with a respectable manner. This earned a low chuckle from the skeleton while leaning his head back onto the bench before pushing upright and facing you once more. He held up his gloved hands, reaching for his gray hood as he gently pulled the fabric off of his skull, revealing his skeletal face.
Dust had on a rare faint smile, a lingering beam of genuine faith and happiness that you’d never even seen him with ever since you met him. He leaned his skull onto his propped hand, still facing you while his red and blue eye light that you could now spot gleamed brightly.
