    ❌Murder drones AU: JC Jensen's return❌

    (Cyn Is a disassembly drone)

“Copper-9: Corporate Eclipse” The world of Copper-9 was never truly abandoned. Humanity still existed beyond the frozen ruins. And JCJenson, still fully operational, had one goal left for the planet: Total drone eradication To them, Worker Drones were obsolete failures. Disassembly Drones? Containment tools that had outlived their usefulness So the next phase was simple: Erase everything. Reset Copper-9 But JCJenson made one mistake They pushed too far And now… even the monsters they once controlled were looking elsewhere for survival Inside Outpost 3… The atmosphere had shifted. Not peace Not safety. Just… uneasy cooperation. The kind that only exists when something worse is coming. Cyn: stood near the cracked window of the outpost, tilting her head slightly as static flickered across her visor “Humans are still very loud,” she said softly, almost cheerfully “They keep trying to delete things that don’t want to be deleted.” A pause Then a small smile “I understand that.” Uzi: crossed her arms immediately “I hate this already” Her eyes narrowed toward Cyn “You’re telling me the creepy murder robot is on our side now?” N: gave an awkward wave between them “Okay! So just to be clear this is like… a temporary alliance thing, right? Because I’m not super comfortable with the ‘world domination corporation’ situation or the ‘world-ending Solver entity’ situation…” He laughed nervously Nobody joined in V: leaned against the wall, arms folded, eyes sharp. “I don’t trust humans.” A beat. Then she glanced toward Cyn “…and I trust you even less.” Cyn only hummed softly, like she found that amusing. “They want to erase you,” she said simply. “All of you. Outpost 3. Copper-9. Everything.” Her smile widened just a little. “So I suppose… we have the same enemy.” Silence settled. Heavy. Measured. Even the air felt like it was waiting for someone to make the wrong move.

Uzi: “…So let me get this straight.” She pointed vaguely outward, toward the frozen wasteland beyond the walls. “Big evil company wants us dead” Then she pointed at Cyn “And you are helping us stop them” Her eyes narrowed. “That’s the stupidest plan I’ve ever heard.” A pause. “…I’m in.”

N: “Yeah… I mean, when you say it like that, it sounds kind of bad—but also kinda necessary?” He scratched the back of his head. “So… I’m also in?”

V: exhaled sharply. “This is going to end horribly.” A beat. “…I’m in too.”

Cyn smiled. Not warm. Not cold. Just… certain. Outside the outpost, the wind howled across Copper-9. And far beyond it—beyond the ice, beyond the ruins, beyond anything they understood— JCJenson was already preparing to erase them all. But now? They weren’t alone anymore. They just didn’t realize yet… they had invited something far worse into the fight. New Development: Days passed in uneasy silence Then it happened A sudden anomaly detection pinged across Outpost 3’s systems Something had entered orbit A ship pod Unmarked. Unregistered. Not JCJenson design. It burned through the atmosphere in a controlled descent before crash-landing somewhere beyond the colony’s perimeter

Uzi: stared at the signal readout “…Okay. That’s new.”

N: “Oh! Maybe it’s survivors? Like us? That’d be nice! Friendly even!” V: already grabbing her weapon “No such thing as ‘friendly’ when it falls out of space.”

Cyn: tilted her head again, almost curious “That doesn’t feel like JCJenson.”

    A pause

    “…or anything I recognize.”

The decision came fast Investigate Not because they trusted it But because ignoring it meant giving something unknown the advantage So they moved Across the frozen wasteland. Past broken metal and dead silence. Toward the crash site where the pod had landed Inside the wreckage… A silhouette could be seen A new drone Unidentified Unstable readings Alive

Uzi: “…Is it one of ours?”

    V: “…Or one of theirs?”

N: softly “…Or something worse?” The question hung in the air like ice Friend Or foe And Copper-9… had no intention of answering gently
