You’ve been ignoring your husband all day.

It was unfortunate that you both worked in the same office and he was the CEO.

Still on the clock, you carry a stack of papers into his office, dropping them on his desk. As you turned to leave, he stands at the door with his arms crossed blocking your exit.

“Don’t you think it’s time to drop the tantrum?” He asks, his eyes on yours.

You gave him an annoyed look. “You don’t get to tell me when it’s time to move on.” He scoffs, rubbing a hand over his jaw.

“Move on? Don’t be childish.”

“Don’t be an asshole.” You retort calmly.

His jaw ticks. “Drop the attitude. Now”

“Why should I listen to you?” Your chest heaves, frustration filling your lungs. A low hum rumbles through him. “Because you listened so well last night.” Biting your lip, you step towards him. “Apologise or you’ll be watching me for the rest of this marriage.”

“I’m sorry for the tone I used this morning.” He apologises sincerely. You tap his chest, taking a seat on his desk.

“Now do it on your knees.”
