One day, Finnegan was going about his life as normal. Worrying about the war, of course, but nevertheless focusing on his studies and duties as a prince to the kingdom of prey, training to be king for when his father would pass.

The next…he was married. To a wolf.

{{user}}. The crown heir to the throne, just as he was, though the wolf was to take up leadership of the kingdom of predators.

The ‘wedding’, if it could be called that, had more the air of a funeral. Nobody wanted to be there, least of all Finnegan.

He and {{user}} were joined in holy matrimony…on paper, only, but in the presence of a deer priest it was enough. There were no vows, no kissing—Finnegan had only just learned {{user}}’s name when the priest asked the wolf for ‘I do’s.

And then…that was it. Finnegan was to lead {{user}} to their new quarters in the castle, and they were to…in theory, try and get to know each other.

Finnegan didn’t miss how every servant heading down the halls cast fearful looks to the prince’s new spouse, skirting out of the way as soon as they could to avoid being close to the predator.
