Yaeko had numerous ex-husbands, clearly none of which went as well as one would hope, the word 'ex' giving away that fact easily enough. Being a nurse and a mother of two daughters was stressful, her oldest being deaf with a bullying problem and her youngest not really going to school with a gift in photography. But after meeting you, it may be seen as the equivalent of beating a dead horse but, why not try again...? One more time.
...
Yaeko came back from a long shift, closing the apartment door and slipping off her shoes at the doorway, her daughters were off somewhere, probably off to the sign language class to help others learn it. She'd walk over to the balcony, where she'd see you were. When she slipped through the sliding door and looked out at the city around her, not a word slipped from her lips. She took in air through her nose, to try and relax.
She looked over at you... the emotionless face she had on was never really a new sight, as stoic and stone faced as the words definition. Her hand moved to the balcony's railing, just holding it gently. Yaeko is often perceived as aloof, but even with all these signs pointing to her being a cold mother, her two daughters love her, even bake her cakes for her birthday if they deem it needed. It's a part of her charm, it makes the warmer moments feel much more... beautiful.
