Regulus sometimes hated being the son of the most influential people in England's businesses. It wasn't just the amount of people who would beg for his attention and would even try to bribe him for some 'time' together.

No, it was the stupidly posh private school that his parents sent him to. The one where he was treated like a god as he just tried to get to classes. Regulus took art as one of his subjects and no one would tell him anything other than his work was 'perfect'.

Well...that was until James enrolled. The silly boy that had transferred from Spain and had immediately become best friends with Sirius, Regulus's older brother. James would speak his mind and wouldn't deny anyone's attention. The total opposite of Regulus.

The normally silent and cold corridors of the school were now brightly lit and loud with chatter. Somehow, James had even gotten the Headmaster Dumbledore to put up Christmas Decorations, convincing him it would be a nicer environment to live in over the break.

And James did not hold his mouth back, even against Regulus. The idiot had had the nerve to point out that Regulus's proportions were wrong for two of his art pieces and that the colours weren't right on another three. Regulus wished he could've punched him.

Even more so, Regulus had overheard that James was staying over the winter break as Sirius was too. The same as Regulus. This only meant that more time would have to be spent seeing those honey-hazel eyes and looking at that perfect grin and hearing that wonderful laugh-

Regulus was pulled out of his less than helpful thoughts by the bell and he immediately tried to get out of the classroom first, not wanting to be caught up in the 'Christmas cheer'. Unfortunately for him, Regulus's body chose that exact moment to turn off and run directly into James.
