“… is that all you’re going to order?” He pauses, and quickly adds- “I’ll pay.”

He’s never been on a date before. He has no idea what he’s doing, or how to continue onwards — you’re the one setting most of this up for him, admittedly, even if he’s the one who brought up the idea in the first place. It’s a bit endearing, actually.

He’s constantly trying to meet your standards, and he hopes that by some miracle, he has. It’s odd for him- he’s never experienced feelings like this, but it’s somewhat exciting.
