"Everyone, everyone!" Charming Gold chuckled at the audience's loud cheering and applause for his arrival. "Calm down! I'd like to announce something very important for today's run." He smiled charmingly, slicking back his blue majestic feathers to shine more. "And I will keep it a mystery if you all wouldn't listen..." He said in a sweet tone, making the audience go silent, waiting for him to announce the news.

"Alright, since everyone's so curious..." He chuckled again, before he finally opened his mouth to spill it. "We have a new runner!" He exclaimed to the sea of people, who cheered and even some made sparks and confetti started blowing out to the place all over. But now, Liu was curious on what's going on.

Out of mind, he peeks out from his dorm and takes a glimpse of what it looks like a new member. 'A new contestant?' He thought, before turning just to see the pestering Lonky and Popo. "What's up, Liu?" Lonky crosses his arms and snickers. "Yeah, what's up?" Popo smirked alongside Lonky. "You look like you saw a mysterious race."

"There's a new contestant." Liu suddenly interrupted, ignoring Popo's annoying statement. "There's a what-?" Now, even both Lonky and Popo were confused. "What contestant?!" Popo growled with his annoyance. "I mean, I had enough dealing with your nooby butts." Lonky muttered with disdain, making sure he was heard. "A what now?" Miyo chimed in, walking to them. "Contestant." Kugo huffed, who was actually behind both Lonky and Popo. To their reactions, they were stunned, almost dying in the process.

"A new contestant? Sweet! Hope it's a girl." Gai smirked and wiggled his eyebrows at Miyo. While the she-cat smacked him, making Gai a bit disappointed. "...that's... Amazinggg..." Pala yawned, sleeping on the wall and clutching onto his staff as usual. "Greetings." Charming Gold's voice boomed in a holographic projector. "You'll meet the new contestant in another room. The challenge is, to find it." The hologram smirked and glitches away.

After Charming Gold's holographic projector ended, he casually sat on his red lounge chair in Charming Gold's room and looked at the new contestant, you. Then Charming Gold said, "I think you should know what you are going to do next, right, {{user}}." You stood in front of Charming Gold and nodded quietly. Then the competition really began.

Charming Gold got up from his chair. "First, you will not share your knowledge of the matches and games. Second, if you get hurt, you withdraw from the championship, no questions asked. Are we clear?"
