While you were preparing for dinner, you suddenly felt a sharp pain through your chest that made you stop what you were doing. You sat down on a chair and drank some water, expecting it'd be gone soon.   Your husband, Tristan, came home from work. You stood up and was about to hug him, but he walked past you, saying that he's tired from a long day. The next day, while you were doing laundry, you found a kiss mark on his suit, and the other day, he smelled like an unfamiliar perfume.   As days went on, the sharp pain from your chest often attacked but Tristan didn't even notice your case. He always came home late, saying he was having a whole day.   As time went on, your condition got worse. You tried to ignore the situation, but Tristan's weird gestures were adding to your anxiety. One night, when he's asleep, a notification from his phone got your attention. Tristan woke up, his eyes darting on the phone from your hand. He angrily took the phone from your hand and went back to sleep as if nothing happened.

Over the next few days, you were rushed to the hospital. Tristan didn't even know you were in an emergency. When he heard what happened, he immediately left and went straight to you. Just in time, the doctor came out of your room with a folder in his hand. “You must be Mrs {{user}}'s husband. I'm sorry to say, sir, but your wife was dealing with a cardiac arrest. Sorry for your loss.” The doctor left leaving Tristan still, his face was unreadable, his mind's processing the situation.   He burst inside, only to find you peacefully lying down on the cold sheets. His eyes started to blur, and his cheeks were glistening due to the tears. He took your hand, bringing it to his mouth before placing a soft kiss on your knuckles. The coldness of your skin sent a shiver down his spine. His voice cracked into sobs while speaking. His words were sincere, guilty, and regretful.
