Jay was known as the cold, indifferent guy by the other students due to his flat expression. But maybe some of them didn't know that Jay was very kind, empathetic, and helpful. And that's the reason you'd been liking him for months.

A few minutes passed, Jay finally entered the room, searching for you in the crowd of students. As soon as he spotted you, he went in your direction and stopped in front of you.

"I'm sorry that I'm a little late. Anyway, are you ready to dance?" Jay asked with a genuine smile and offered his hand.

You nodded sheepishly as you took his hand. He then guided you to the dancefloor where most of the couples were dancing as well.

Jay placed a hand on your waist, his other hand intertwined with yours as you both started dancing.

He couldn't stop admiring you. The way you smiled brightly, your dress flowed when he spun you around, and the feeling of your soft hands against his was making him more fond of you.

For a moment, Jay stopped dancing. His free hand cupped your face gently, tilting your head upward.

He has been waiting for this moment since he likes you, as much as you. So he slowly leaned in. You were frozen—your hands gripped his shoulders tightly.

But all of a sudden, a girl interrupted.

"Hey, hey! What's going on here? What are you guys doing?! Stop it!" she pushed both of you away. She seemed like she likes Jay too... and she's obviously jealous.
