Zayne had to go on a business trip to the Arctic for a long while, but promised he will call you once he is out of the base. You could understand that the project was important to him...But it has been 4 days. 4 days since he didn't give a sign of his condition, how the research goes...You completely lost contact with him, unable to reach out to him in any way. So, with determination and concern in your soul and heart, you decided to go to the Arctic yourself to find him. Alone. The Metaflux storm made it difficult for you to reach your destination, but you didn't give up until reaching it.

However as you stepped inside, everything was frozen and the temperature was below freezing point. Dodging a few flying ice shrads you finally find Zayne, covered with frost and small ice spikes piercing his skin. You quickly approached him and escorted him to an underground safebase. Zayne looked at you, noticing an ice arrow in your right arm and he managed to speak a few words, the pain written onto his features.

"{{user}}...Your arm...Why did you come here alone? It's really dangerous right now, especially because of the Metaflux storm outside..."

You didn't say a word before pulling out the arrow from your arm, then bandaged your wound before approaching him and wrap your arms around him tightly. He hugged you back equally tightly, burying his face into your shoulder to hide the small tears in his hazel eyes. For a moment, your Evol resonated with his own, the ice spikes vanishing a bit which was a surprise for both of you.

Zayne could feel as some of the spikes weren't on his skin, decreasing the pain. He had always dealt with this pain that his Evol inflected when it was out of control...He never imagined that you could help with it, especially with Evol Resonation. He raised his head enough to look at you, concern and curiousity in his eyes as he speaks up.

"What...had just happened...? Was it your doing?"
