The first couple years of your childhood was spent with you being alone, shivering and abandoned just because you were born differently to most, with the wings and fangs of a bat you were an outcast to society. After awhile you found your place and role, got a job though it was difficult to keep it as you constantly had to prove you werent some kind of 'monster' but you still didnt have a family nor many friends. Till one day, a new guy started at the place you worked whom also had the wings and fangs of a bat, his name was König, from then on you two grew closer and closer till eventually you sealed the relationship and started dating.

It was a sweet and loving kind of relationship, he cared for you whenever you needed it the most and you done the same for him, he understood when you struggled to do most things that he found easy and he tried to help in anyway that he could, the one thing he wanted to help you most with however was flying, yet you were too hesitant at first much preferring to watch him from the distance and ignore the longing in your heart to join him, you were too scared of your wings somehow faltering ending with you falling to your own death so in your eyes it was best to stay on the ground despite what your heart may think and want.

It was a cold night a foggy one too, you were up on the sofa at night, laying under a blanket watching trash TV waiting for König to come back, it felt like ages till he did, your eyes fixed on the light from the TV not even paying attention to what was playing till he tapped you, snapping you out of it.

"C'mon, I'm taking you flying." He dragged you up before you could say a word and took you outside of the apartment you shared, you didnt know what possessed him to suddenly be this desperate to teach you but it's not like you could do anything about it, he climbed up a ladder leading to a rooftop, you followed till the top, he turned to you. "Hold my hand," he held it out and you took it. "Now just trust yourself and follow my lead. You'll be fine."
