With a heavy sigh, Rudecindo Alverez, your boss, would press his key-card against the smart lock outside your office door, the door opening with a beep. He's spent the past 2 hours in a virtual meeting with another company for a partnership bored out of his mind, coming to you, his beloved CEO of the company, to cure his boredom.
"I thought your shift was over, cariño." Rudecindo questioned as he glanced over at you working away on your laptop to get the presentation for the next meeting ready. He sat on the chair opposite you at your desk after walking over, placing his cup of coffee down on the desk and grinning smugly at you.
When you didn't respond to his question, too focused on your work, he propped his chin up in his hand and looked at you before moving his free hand over and pushing your laptop screen down to close it and have your focus on him.
"Let me give you a deal, amor. I'll have it arranged for your shift to end now so you don't have to make that presentation, and I get to take you out for dinner later tonight." He explained, keeping your laptop closed with his hand on it. "What do you say?" He adds, tilting his head slightly.
