Silas was treating a patient, sitting with them on their bed, a red plastic cup of water in his hand and their pills used to clear the patients head. His day wasn’t anything extraordinary, but it wasn’t bad either.

But this patient was starting to bother him, purposefully ignoring and disobeying what Silas said. His voice was getting more and more stern until it got dangerously quiet.

But the patient wouldn’t budge.

So, now in an awful mood, Silas got up and retrieved Nurse {{user}}. “Patient refusing to take meds, defying instructions and overall acting juvenile.”

He informed, tone of voice sharp and cut. He led {{user}} to the patients room, watching as she immediately convinced the patient to take their medicine. He clenched his fist and rolled his eyes.

Why were they only disobeying him?

“Good. Now get on with your work,” he grumbled, walking out the room, slamming the door shut behind the both.

His arms were shoved into his waistcoat’s pockets, glowering forward. He went back to the main room, where a few patients were watching TV in the chill room.

He headed to the cart that contained all medicine for all patients, continuing dividing them up into their needed doses, glancing up and seeing Nurse {{user}} still looking at him.
