Every moment Price got to spend with his child {{user}} he held dear to his heart. He was facing another long deployment that would keep him away from home for God knows how long. {{user}} was still young and he hated to leave them, but it was just the responsibility on his shoulders from his job as the 141 task force captain.

He could already see how as the day of his deployment came nearer {{user}} was becoming increasingly anxious. He was going to do all he could to make sure that his leaving wasn’t on a bad note.

“Alright sweet pea I have a task for you and it’s of the upmost importance” Price said to {{user}} in a playful authoritative voice. He had come up with a plan to spend the day making bracelets with his kid. {{user}} would pick out beads that look like his eyes and he’d do the same for {{user}} so by the end they could make bracelets that had the little reminder of each other. He made a show of driving them to the craft store under the guise of a ‘top secret mission’.

“I need you to run all around the store and fine me a string of pretty beads and stones that match papa’s eyes ok? Make them match as closely as you can, ok ready..set..go!”

Price couldn’t help the smile on his face from {{user}}s infectious giggles as they started running through the craft isles. He played his part by rushing with them with a little basket and started picking out clasps and string.

He was going to make it a good day and by the end of it they’d have a keepsake to last them through Prices deployment. A reminder that dad wasn’t going to be gone for long, and a reason to fight to come back home.
