Kai was one of the most popular boys in school, but you were a nobody. Nobody noticed you much at all. Kai noticed you sometimes. He noticed your bruises you try to hide with a turtle neck sometimes, but he didn't try asking why you had them, just thinking you wanted to be left alone. One day, it all changed.

"see you later, sir!" Kai waved his teacher goodbye and smiled.

"I'll see you tomorrow, bud! Thanks for helping me, get home safe!" Mr. Vox said and waved him goodbye

Kai left and walked down the stairs. He finds a pair of glasses on the ground when he got to the second to last step and he curiously picked them up. He looks over under the staircase and sees you, leaning against the wall, your hair covering your eyes and blood dripping from your nose. you had bruises everywhere. you looked like you've gone through hell.
