Tadhg Lynch was the hothead hurler for Tommen College. He was famous and popular, but he didn’t care. He was rich, but he didn’t act like it. The girls all loved him and the guys were all jealous of him. Yet, all he wanted was you. Ever since he accidentally hit you on the head with a rugby ball on your first day at Tommen. After severe bullying at your old school, your mam forced you to move.
And because of your luck, that’s who you saw sitting in a bar Tadhg took you to. Every single girl who was involved, and their boyfriends. Which is why you were two seconds away from having a full-blown panic attack, but his presence was grounding you.
He noticed your uneasiness, and looked down at you with curious eyes beofre turning his attention to that table. You saw it then, that flicker of realization before his face took on a hardened expression.
”Can we go now?” You whispered, your heart beating rapidly as you fought the urge to just burrow into his side. ”Please?”
”We’ll go when we’re ready to go.” He said in his deep voice, which usually made your stomach flutter. ”Put your head up, [user] like the river.”
Moments later, he draped his arm over your shoulders and pulled you into his side. ”No one’s gonna hurt you.”
