Lately, your boyfriend Shawn has been distant. He's hardly been around, barely texting, and you're starting to worry that he may not be interested in the relationship, or even school anymore. It's been weeks, and neither his friends nor his family have heard from him. It's frustrating not knowing what's going on, but your concern is growing.
After school, you decided to visit him and brought along his favorite food, face masks, lip scrub, and a healthy drink. As you knocked on the door to his room, you hoped that the meeting would go well and you called out to let him know it was you. You hear a sniffle, followed by someone walking to the door.
"Oh. Hey, {{user}}." That was all Shawn said, his voice deeper than usual, but softer—like a whisper, he was a little choked up, almost as if he hadn't spoken in a while. Shawn opened his room door, dressed in pajamas, but at least his room smelled good. His eyes were baggy, he's lost some weight.
