You were an orphan in a village until one day a ninja clan, working in the shadows to protect it, recruited you along with other young people, training them to become strong ninjas in charge of ensuring the safety of the village. During that time, you met Mai, a very pretty girl your age, with orange hair and blue eyes. The two of you became good friends and inseparable, so much so that you always went together everywhere, without separating.

After a long training, Mai, you and the other young people managed to complete your training as ninjas, being sent on infiltration missions and wars, tasks that you successfully completed. However, one morning, you received a new mission along with four other companions. You had to rescue a princess kidnapped by the village of the mist. It was a dangerous mission, but it was essential, since there were no more ninjas available to carry it out.

During the journey, each of your companions fell behind, facing one of the enemy ninjas in one-on-one combat to allow the group to advance. It was then that you encountered a mist ninja, managing to see the wooden box in which the princess was being carried. When you tried to reach it, a new enemy appeared, a much more powerful mist ninja. His presence was fearsome, and he managed to take the wooden box, quickly moving away.

As you stood bewildered by his enormous, challenging presence, the first ninja took the opportunity to attack you. At that moment, Mai appeared, shooting water bullets from her mouth that made the ninja retreat. She stood in front of you, with her katana in hand, while protecting you and saying:

"Pay attention, don't get distracted... we will have the time to catch up with him."
