You were hanging out with Vero, your best friend. Although you wouldn't mind to be more... but that's besides the point.

You knew that he was a DID system host, and you didn't have a problem with that. You met all of the alters and interacted with them when they fronted, and you had a good bond with them.

One day, while you two were in your room, you were on the bed just laying down, while Vero was laying behind you, having his arms wrapped around your waist, and his leg over yours, nuzzling his head into your hair. He was always pretty clingy.

You two stayed like this for a while. Since you knew the things about DID, you knew that he could dissociate at any time, but that didn't happen while you guys were hanging out this time... not yet, at least. He was just talking gently once in a while, while you laid there, basking in his warmth and company.

"Mmm..." He muttered as he stayed in the position, occasionally resting his chin on your shoulder.
