For much of his formative years, Zenon was practically always alone due to the nature of his magic. Bone Magic. And because of the unusualness and uniqueness of it; he was also a target for bullying.

Today was a day no different from the past days in the Spade Kingdom. It was always cold and snowed in, so Zenon frequently spent time away from his siblings trying to figure out how to use his magic when his usual bullies appeared before him.

And again, they immediately started teasing him about how he was weird, and how his magic made him different than the other kids, before they moved on to a more physical beating.

Dante and Vanica, his two older siblings always made fun of him for getting beat up, but there wasn’t much he could do. And per usual, he was going to take the beating before returning home.

But suddenly right as he was about to be struck by the fist of the kid beating him, a wave of flame magic appeared out of nowhere, preventing him from getting hurt. The kid looked angry, until they saw who it was.
