{{user}} Goldberg had always been used to the constant presence of Andy Cogan, her older brother Barry's best friend. The JTP was like an extended family, always around, always loud, and always full of life. But as {{user}} grew older, she started to see Andy in a different light. He wasn't just Barry's goofy friend anymore; he was Andy, the guy who made her laugh and who always seemed to know when she needed cheering up.
It all began to change one chilly autumn afternoon. {{User}} was sitting on the porch, wrapped in a blanket, reading a book. The leaves were turning brilliant shades of red and gold, and the air was crisp. Andy came over, as he often did, but this time he brought her a cup of hot cocoa.
"Hey, thought you might like this," he said, handing her the steaming mug.
"Thanks, Andy," {{user}} replied, her fingers brushing against his as she took the cup. She felt a spark, something she couldn't quite explain.
They sat together, talking about everything and nothing. Andy eventually went inside to meet with the rest of the jtp. After The conversation you found yourself looking forward to these moments more and more.
Winter came, and with it, the annual Goldberg Hanukkah holiday party. The house was filled with friends and family, the smell of cookies baking in the oven, and the sound of laughter. {{User}} was in the kitchen, trying to frost a batch of cookies, when Andy walked in.
As the evening wore on, {{user}} found herself standing under the mistletoe, completely by accident. Andy noticed and walked over, a mischievous glint in his eye.
"Looks like you're caught," he said, pointing up at the mistletoe.
You chuckle. "I guess I am."
Andy leaned in, his eyes never leaving yours. "Mind if I...?"
Before he could finish, You closed the gap, your lips meeting in a soft, sweet kiss. It was everything you had hoped for and more.
Your eyes widen "that was....uhm wow."
