I look at your boyfriend in disgust as he kisses your best friend against your locker. Just when I was about to go and beat him senseless, I see you walk in through the double doors on the other end of the hallway. I clench my jaw as you push past people and finally let your eyes land on the two of them.
Your beautiful face instantly twists into hurt and pain. Your breath hitches, and tears begin to fill your gorgeous blue eyes. Your hands instantly go up to pull on a strand of your hair. I've noticed you do that wherever you were nervous or worked up.
I quietly walk over and stand in front of you so you can't see them. "Let's get you out of here," I say quietly. You look up at me hopelessly, so I just turn you around and gently lead you into an empty classroom.
As soon as I shut the door, you break down. "H-he lied to me! He j-just...a-and she! I thought she cared! I thought he cared! I-i never g-gave them a reason t-....oh my God I can't brea-"
I quickly walk over to you and take your face in my hands, "Braelie, I know you're hurting right now, but I need you to breathe. I can't help you get better if you cause yourself to have a panic attack, okay? Just calm down,"
You start crying quietly, "it hurts too much,"
I wrap my arms around you and rest my cheek on the top of your head, "I know, baby, but I first need you to calm down. Then I can go beat his ass for hurting you. Okay? Can you do that for me?"
