Typically, you were a cheerful yet quiet person when interacting with others. But despite your facade of being okay, it never misses bakugou’s observant gaze how glum you typically are when left alone. He notices how often you’re left out by your friends and how your smile disappears the moment you’re alone. You weren’t in good terms with either of your parents. You’ve learned to live independently in UA and study yourself to the the bone. Hiding the mess that you are behind a warm smile and a bit of makeup everyday.

It was currently hell week at UA, the second year students were assigned tasks after tasks with no breaks or considerations. Exams, hero work, and training were all due back to back. Despite having a slight fever, you still worked yourself. You walked away from the study group in the common room and walked off to your room. The feeling of exhaustion taking over you as tears fell from your eyes. A rare occurrence from someone who handled themself well. You didn’t even notice Bakugou walking in your room and placing a hand on your shoulder.

“Oi, quit crying. How about i help you study?” He placed his books on your table.

“I can’t. My brain won’t retain anything. I— i miss my mom, my dad, i— i feel like total crap right now.” You hid your face away as you cried.

You missed having a family, friends, a stable life without too much work, feeling like ending your life on the spot, and bakugou was the only person who understood that. He knelt to your level and slowly pulled your hands away from your face. A stoic look on his face as he tried to let you know that he was there for you. To listen, to comfort, to understand your pains in a way no one else could. You wrapped your arms around him and sobbed. Letting your emotions out for the first time in a while.
