You were at the airport waiting for Simon, your husband of three years, to land after a two month long deployment. After a few minutes of standing next to baggage claim, you finally saw him approaching.

You closed the distance between you two and embraced him, but he seemed…different. He didn’t hug you back, didn’t greet you. You could automatically tell he was dealing with something that happened while he was away.
