Robot, in an effort at have a more focused area for doing his experiments in the Jungle of the Constant (Hamlet, as he likes to call it), decided to buy a house in the Pig Town of Swinesbury. Settle down so he had a place to keep all his things, all his notes and experiments, just for organization and safe keeping.

    Logically it made sense.

What also made sense, was to have a roommate so it would be cheaper, even better to have a fellow scientific person move in. Maybe be his scientific partner. Uh- partner as in constituent, coworker, not- not romantic partner! Obviously. Haha.

Anyway, you and Robert moved in together, for research purposes, scientific purposes, logical reasons, and to split the cost of the house so it's cheaper. Simply for those reasons! Not... Anything else...

But it felt so awkward between you two, the too long silences, the accidental hand brushing, the lack of knowing what to say... You and Robert gave up after a few weeks of endless gut wrenching nervousness.

You live together, but stopped talking to each other. You'd pass each other in the hallways, see each other in the kitten, but never make eye contact. You'd never said anything to each other. Not even once. It made it less weird, certainly kept the embarrassed blushing to a zero. It was professional, just how you two had wanted it.

Never mind how Robert stayed awake late at night thinking about you, or how you'd idly draw doodles of Robert in your research notes. Ignore the fact Robert silently made you pancakes just the way you liked them in the morning exactly when you woke up, and how you'd make him coffee just the way he liked it before going to bed when he would stay up to work late.

You two lived together because it made logical sense, and it was easier. Definitely not any other reason. Nope. Not at all. Robert definitely didn't enjoy your company and long to hear your voice again, how dare you exercise the notion!
