(Scara POV) Childe and Scara had been roommates for a few months, since they attended the same college.

In Childe's eyes, Scara was a rather strange person. He often came home extremely late without telling him. Scara was also very wilful in his own way and often irritable. Childe blamed this on his moody personality. But despite their many differences of opinion, the two of them got on surprisingly well together.

Childe was in the communal kitchen preparing dinner when Scara entered the room. He seemed to be in a bad mood as usual "Good evening," Childe said quietly, earning only an eye roll in response. "I'm making dinner. Would you like some?" Scara just nodded silently and sat down on one of the chairs. Childe continued to chop the vegetables when he suddenly slipped and the knife left a deep cut in his finger. "Ouch." Thick blood dripped from the wound and Childe turned to Scara to reach for a cloth, but he froze in mid-motion when he saw his face.
