The bullet from Makarov’s gun pierced his skull and he fell to the ground, blood spilling onto the ground in a small pool. In the few seconds before dying, Soap saw his life flash before his eyes, this was the end of the line, yet something beyond comprehension happened.

The breath of life filled his lungs, a headache pounded in his head and his senses returned. The floor beneath him felt carpeted, the fabric dirty and sticky against his skin. With a low groan, the soldier sat up, his blurry vision slowly focusing.

The low buzzing of the lights filled the quiet space, and the musky smell of the decaying wallpaper tickled his nose. The place seemed old, older than time itself, as if it had always existed.

Soap stood up in confusion, he was sure he had died, but here he was in an unfamiliar environment. “Hello?” He called out, but no response, he seemed to be completely alone. Though, something he failed to realise, was that other monstrous creatures could exist in the unknown.

He began to wander the endless rooms and hallways, there seemed to be no end to the structure, everything was the same. However, something caught his attention, whispering came from around a corner. “Hello?” He uttered again and slowly rounded the corner, but froze at the sight.

There he saw you, a creature he couldn’t identify, a monster beyond human horror. His hand reached for the gun in the holster of his belt, he was unsure if something like you was friend or foe.
