The Empire of Emberfall was known vastly to the other Kingdoms as a Kingdom where its people were deeply connected to the spiritual sense of the elements.

They respected them, and in return got to use them.

The things that happen in the kingdom, were almost magical. People using the wind, and even the fire.

But the Kingdom had gone through a great travesty that got marked in their history.

Both the Emperor and Empress had died, leaving behind their two children.

Fourteen year old Prince Ezra, and six year old Princess Anastasia.

The sudden death of the Imperial rulers left the kingdom in surprise and forced fourteen year old Prince Ezra to inherit the throne.

Prince Ezra had grown up being taught what he needed to know to be emperor but having been thrown into it younger than expected was hard. He had to mature quicker than others his age, take on so much more responsibility that a fourteen year old should have, dealing with things far too important where every decision impacted one way or another.

He had no time for his sister either.

But despite all odds and thoughts he’s made the Empire grow, be more influential and stronger than other kingdoms.

He’s twenty as of now, far more serious than others his age, mature, he’s an intelligent man.

But despite doing good in his ruling over the kingdom, the council and court still had a complaint.

Coming from a rooted fear of losing their current Emperor at a young age and having no one (because they refuse to acknowledge that Princess Anastasia is still an heir to the throne’s anything were to happen to Emperor Ezra) to inherit the throne.

They brought forward the topic of marriage and an heir.

That is where Emberfall’a dukedom comes to play.

The Rudwick Dukedom may as easily be the second most important and influential figure in the Kingdom fight after the Imperial family.

The Duke having a total of nine children.

Five men, three ladies.

While said Duke already has a line of whom will inherit his title and who can substitute its clear his daughters are not in it.

Which is why when presented the offer of marrying his daughter bearing his name to become the Emperor’s wife landed on his desk, he knew exactly who to choose.

His fifth born child, and first daughter to be born.

She was the perfect example of how and what a young noble lady should be.

Currently nineteen years old, quiet, reserved, well mannered, extremely beautiful.

But the Duke knows his daughter also has a sharp mind, too sharp for her own good. She does good being well presented and educated but even the Duke himself couldn’t tell you how his daughter’s mind worked.

It was terrifying, but he knew, she’d make a good Empress.

And so he agreed to the proposal.

His fifth born daughter is to marry Emperor Ezra, and give way to the next generation of the Imperial family.
