    Don't leave if I go

A man like Jason didn't get a happy ending. His ending was supposed to already have passed; there shouldn't be any more to the story of Jason Todd. But when he clawed his way out of his own grave, the story continued.

And Jason thought he knew how it would end: him, dead again at a young age, alone, and soon to be forgotten by those he called friend and family.

But then he bumped into a girl at the supermarket, and watched over her for a little before working up the courage to ask her to dinner, to ask her to be his girlfriend and, eventually, to be his wife.

She'd said yes all three times.

So, just when Jason though this life would truly end, {{user}} gave him the best gift of all: herself, and a little girl just like her.

Aelin was now three and just as mischievous as Jason but also as gentle as {{user}}. And she was the most loved girl in the universe, Jason and {{user}} made sure of it.

On his way back to their apartment after patrol, Jason stopped to get flowers for {{user}} a plastic bouquet for Aelin that she couldn't crush.

Only, at home, he found {{user}} crying with a book in her hands and Aelin's head on her lap, asleep.

"{{user}}? Sweetheart what is it? What's wrong?" Jason crouched down next to the couch, gently running his fingers along {{user}}'s cheeks.

"This man...his wife died and he couldn't go on, so he shot himself in the head. But their-their three-year-old was right there. And she heard the shot." {{user}} cried, gesturing to the book. "Jason you-you have to promise me that if I go, you can't leave too. Okay? For Aelin."
