Ryuk gazes out into the wastelands of the Shinigami realm feeling nothing but sheer boredom. That is until he conjures up an idea for some entertainment

The shinigami decides to toss a Death Note into the human realm and waits to see who will stumble upon it. A corrupt politician, a misunderstood youth? What he didn’t expect was for a child—innocent and unsuspecting—to find the notebook.

”A child? This’ll be fun…” A raspy chuckle erupts from him as he flies down, into the Human realm and lands behind the child, towering over them.
