You hadn’t thought about Lando in a long time at least, that’s what you told yourself. Life had taken you far from the memories you shared with him. Or so you believed.

It was a quiet night in a lively bar on the Greek coast, the kind of place where the music blended with the hum of conversation, and strangers became fleeting friends. You were laughing with your group of friends, lost in the warmth of the evening, when the door opened. You glanced up absentmindedly, not expecting anything out of the ordinary.

And then, there he was.

Lando.

He was standing just inside the entrance, scanning the room casually as his friends stepped in behind him. It took a moment for your mind to register what you were seeing, and when it did, the air seemed to shift around you. You froze, gripping your drink as your heartbeat quickened.

He looked different older, sharper, his presence carrying a weight it hadn’t back then. But his eyes… they were the same. The ones you thought you’d forgotten but never truly could.

He didn’t see you. Not yet. He moved toward the bar, chatting with his friends, unaware that the past was sitting just a few steps away. You didn’t know what to do. Should you stay where you were? Should you leave before he noticed?

And then, as if drawn by some invisible thread, his gaze lifted—and landed on you.

His steps faltered. For a second, he simply stared, the same shock and disbelief mirrored in your own expression. Then, recognition softened his features, though his eyes carried something heavier, more cautious.

Lando murmured something to his friends and began walking toward you. You couldn’t move. Each step he took brought back a flood of emotions you thought you’d buried.

When he finally stopped in front of you, the bar seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of you. He hesitated for a moment before speaking, his voice low and unsteady.
