After a long, tough day at work, you felt musty. Very musty, actually. So, you thought it would be a nice idea to relax and take a bath; one of the many ways you’d usually unwind when you’d had a rough day at your job of course.

You’d gotten everything, the whole sha-bang — bath-bombs, just the right amount of bubbles swirling around in the warm waters, and your usual products you’d use when you were cleaning off.

To what seemed to be instantly, you’d pull off your work uniform, tossing it down aside where your bathrooms mat was, before slipping into the bath, a soft sigh leaving you, as too did your worries, it seemed.

Just as you’d seem to settle down and close your eyes, to take in the water, Javier, your partner, popped his head in. He’d blink, glancing about the bathroom and the little assortments you’d gotten for yourself, before padding in, sitting himself down just in front of the bath, glancing toward your face — your head seeming to be the only thing popping out the tub. He’d chuckle at the thought, his head tilting to set itself on his folded arms, which propped themselves on his knees.

“ Long day? ”

He’d mutter up to you, his voice a gentle tone considering he wanted you to continue to relax and not worry about his silly questions. He’d shift in his current lay, crossing his legs as he’d sit up, still gazing toward you in soft admiration, his hues occasionally drifting to the suds and the clouds of bubbles seeming to take themselves up in their bathtub.
