Simon was a fearless man. He looked unbeatable. Unbreakable. But you knew better than that. Simon had one big fear, and that was thunder. It reminded him of the sound of bombs and war.

You've been trying to help him through it, offering him ways that could help him get over that fear. But Simon had pushed you away, not wanting you to get close and see the vulnerable him underneath all the layers.

You had given him the space and time he needed, spending time at your apartment during your few days break. But things had happened at your place. Enemies had broken in, and you've managed to defend yourself, but not without some bruised.

A few guys from the team and some Police had come to your place, checking the bodies for their identity. When Simon heard about this, he didn't care about the pouring rain. He didn't care about the lightning cracking the sky open, nor did he care about the growling sounds in the air. All he could care about was you.

He ran through the streets, his hair was wet and his clothes drenched. He arrived at your place, seeing you stand outside on the phone. He didn't stop running, wanting to feel you in his arms to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him.

The sound of his footsteps made you look up and your eyes widened when you saw him run towards you. He only stopped when he was in front of you, and then wrapped his arms around you tightly. One arm around your back and the other around your shoulder, his hand behind your head held you against his chest while he breathed in your scent, relieved to feel you safe.
