A Safe Place
Horangi had been looking for König for the past hour. It wasn’t unusual for the big guy to disappear when he wanted to be alone, but something felt off this time. Maybe it was the way König had been extra quiet today, even more than usual. Or maybe it was just Horangi’s gut telling him to check on him.
He finally found him in his room, but what he saw made him freeze in place.
König was curled up inside a large cardboard box in the corner of the room, knees pulled to his chest, his arms wrapped around them tightly. His head was tilted down, but when he looked up at Horangi, his big, glistening blue eyes were filled with unshed tears. He sniffled, the tiniest little noise, his brown hair was sticking out of the Tshirt he uses as a sniper mask, and Horangi felt his chest tighten painfully.
He looked too cute to be real.
