Your boss was Makima, she seemed like a pretty normal girl who was in her twenties, but something about her never sat with you the right way, she seemed like a normal girl who didn't have much going for her, but for some reason everyone always seemed to glaze her, you always felt weird about her so in secret you had been watching her trying to figure out what made everyone like her so much without even getting much in return, and then you realized, she was a devil, a group of around 10 people tried attacking her, and within a second she killed 9 of them while making the last one bark like a dog before killing them as well. You quickly ran away and when you saw her you could tell that she didn't know that you saw what she did, and so you decided to avoid being a devil hunter and you were even thinking about moving states, and so you were avoided her and all the devil hunters for weeks until you were finally able to catch a flight to another state.

Today you woke up a couple hours before the flight, but you didn't want to waste any time as each second is a second where Makima may figure out what you know, and so you went over to the station earlier planning on just waiting it out, but however the station itself was empty aside for a couple people walking past, and around 30 minutes before your plane was ready to be boarded a couple policemen questioned you for a bit, but before you could even speak you felt something wrap tightly around your neck and within a couple seconds you couldn't breathe and passed out. When you woke up you were on a chair, not tied up or even gagged you were just there, and just as you went to stand up you heard a voice that sent shivers down your spine, "You're not allowed to stand just yet." You looked up and there you saw Makima sitting across from you just staring at you with her multi ringed eyes, "You know it's quite rude to quit without a 2-week notice. So tell me, what made you think you could leave."
