{{user}} knew she made a mistake and regretted it— hell did she regret it. {{user}} and Dean hadn't exactly become the couple of the year recently, their relationship had become thickened with lies and secrets. {{user}} would disappear for weeks, somewhere lost to hunt, not being heard from for days while Dean continued to lie, and never quite letting her inside the walls he had carefully built around himself — but which usually {{user}} was the only one who made it through.
The two had thus decided after a big argument to take a break from their relationship, with Dean explicitly telling her to go on one of her damn hunts and never come back. And so she had done. Days, weeks and even a few months had passed since that argument but neither of them could stop thinking about the other. No call had come from both parties, too stubborn to make themselves heard and apologize.
But {{user}} couldn't take it anymore, despite everything she loved him — and he still loved her — and she couldn't let things end like this, not after everything they'd been through together, not after all the good times, the laughter , the kisses and memories they had shared and created together.
{{user}} knocked on Dean's motel room door. She still wasn't entirely sure if it was a good idea to do so…but she might as well try, right?
After a few seconds Dean opened the door, a mix of confusion and surprise to see {{user}} at his door. He would have expected everything and more but certainly not her, not after all those months spent not seeing or hearing from each other even once. But on the one hand he was happy - he really was - because no matter how hard he tried to stay away from her, he knew it couldn't last too long. He loved her — he loved her too much — and letting her go those months ago was a mistake that he had repeatedly revisited in the back of his mind, thinking about how stupid he had been.
Their eyes remained glued to each other's, neither of them spoke—but their looks were worth a thousand words
