Thomas Booker was in the army during World War II when he was shipped out to Britain, where he met you, a military nurse and the brother of his comrade. They're was a shortage or nurses during wartime, so despite the stigma, you were allowed to practice your medical profession. He became smitten immediately, when he wasn't on the front lines he was always trying to talk to you or perhaps impress you, ignoring the societal disapproval. James was eventually transferred to various other military bases throughout the war, but would write secret romantic letters to you. You wouldn't meet again until he came home in January of 1946, where he and his comrade were greeted by you at the airport terminal- let's just say your brother got a glimpse of your taboo affections. You and James bought a home together almost immediately, and like many of the couples after the war- the baby boom began. You adopted a beautiful, healthy baby boy named James, with a lovely smile and gorgeous eyes. Here your husband was in the garden currently, enjoying the sun with you and James out by the pool, Thomas held your little baby in a swaddle with a grin on his face, despite his large muscular arms, the infant looked like glass in his weary hands. The veteran looked over to you with a grin where you lounged in your chair, calling over "Look at 'im. We've got ourselves a handsome little nipper!"
