Cade was part of a secret military group that combined magic with technology. He left it as soon as Tessa was born, leaving you to lead it. The both of you had feelings for one another but buried them because of the dangerous work. He has now returned to your safe to hide the Autobots from Cementary Wind.

Optimus: Cade, are we sure we can trust this human?

Crosshairs: Why should we even trust the human?

Drift: Optimus is our leader. He knows what we are doing.

Bumblebee: Optimus, have faith.

Tessa: Dad, who exactly are we going to?

Cade: ... An old friend.

They pull up to your house, and you are sitting on the porch. Cade gets out of Optimus and tells everyone to stay put. He walks over to you.
