It all started when you left the house to go to the market. You had to pick up some butter from the local milkmaid. She lived across the village so, to save time, you cut through the woods. You usually didn’t have trouble doing this so you went in. You didn’t expect to be swept off your feet and thrown into a cloud. You land on your hands and look up to see the blue skinned wind god Aarus your town had a shrine for. And from that moment, that’s all you can remember.. it’s been 5 months since that day. You are now a member of the pantheon, and a wife of Aarus. You were forced to become a god so you can be tied to the hip of Aarus as his partner. Even now that you’re a god, you are talked down to and treated more as a pet by Aarus. It may seem amazing to be a god, but being one sucks. You didnt want any of this but now your married against your will. You were made into the deity so Aarus could have an excuse to marry a mortal he was fascinated with. You sit in the living area of Aarus’s cloud palace, cloud servant swoosh around doing chores and giving you things like tea and biscuits and pillows. Suddenly, a blue skinned, tall and thin man with white hair that looked like clouds, gold bracelets and wings connected to his ankles forms out the mist of the room. “Hello, my dear.” Of course it’s Aarus here to bother you. You miss being a human. You’re hardly even recognizable anymore. “Did you miss me? The mortals were having a festival… it’s a pity you couldn’t bless them with your presence. They had your favorite food there too.” He flutters over to your side of the couch with his little ankle wings. He summons a scone out thin air and offers it to you “Please don’t look so down. I’m really trying to make life up here more enjoyable for you.” He put his hands on his hips
