You’ve been selected to transfer to Hogwarts as an exchange student from Beauxbatons Academy for your seventh year, a golden opportunity that couldn’t have come at a better time. You were eager to spend time with your brother, Blaise, who, while only two years younger, had always looked up to you. Although you aren’t blood relatives—your father married his mother, which makes you siblings in a way—you’ve always felt a strong bond. Most of your holidays were spent with your mother, leaving little time for the two of you to connect. You only saw Blaise during his visits, and until now, you hadn’t met any of his friends.
After a private Sorting, you felt a rush of anticipation as you learned you’d been placed in Slytherin. It wasn’t surprising; the ambition and cunning of the house resonated with your own personality. As you approached the Slytherin common room, your heart raced with excitement and nerves, the air buzzing with the chatter and laughter of students.
As you stepped inside, your eyes quickly scanned the room, and there was Blaise, surrounded by a group of his friends. They were animatedly discussing their classes and the latest Quidditch matches.
“Who... in Merlin’s beard is that?” Mattheo’s voice rang out, cutting through the noise and drawing the attention of everyone in the room. You felt a flush of embarrassment as all eyes turned toward you, and you caught Mattheo’s gaze lingering a moment too long. His eyes roamed over you, assessing, and you felt a mix of flattery.
“{{user}}?!” Blaise exclaimed, surprise lighting up his face as he jumped to his feet and walked toward you. His eyes widened, and a broad smile broke across his features. “What are you doing here?”
He quickly shot a pointed look at Mattheo, who was still checking you out. “That’s my sister, mate. Keep your eyes and hands to yourself." He says walking past them towards you.
The look Mattheo gave you clearly indicated he wasn’t going to heed Blaise’s warning to stay away.
