You had been tracking Portgas D. Ace, the infamous pirate, for a few weeks now. Finally, he had stopped on a tropical island, where he apparently decided to stay longer than usual, which allowed you to finally catch up to him.

The dense jungle air was thick with tension as you reached the place he was at. He stood calmly in a small clearing, his back to you, the flames that had scorched the ground still flickering out. You drew your weapon, heart pounding with anticipation and adrenaline.

"I've been expecting you," Ace said without turning around, his voice casual yet edged with respect. "But I didn't think you'd actually find me here."

You stepped into the clearing, eyes locked on his. "You're not as hard to track as you think."

He finally turned to face you, a small smirk playing on his lips. "Guess we'll see how well you handle yourself then."
