The familiar scent of a prison cell filled {{user}}βs nose. She hadnβt been in a cell like this for years. It was just like before. Except this time? She was locked in by her sister. She was purposely set free since they worked together to save their father from some beastly form.
But when {{user}} came to free her sister, she pulled the old switcheroo and punched {{user}} where she was stabbed a week before, getting out as soon as possible.
βYou donβt have to worry about me anymore.β She closed the door and locked it, stepping back. βYou donβt need to feel guilty about being happy. You deserve to be happy with her.β
βWait!β {{user}} banged against the door, as her sister dropped her keys at her feet, still backing up.
βThereβs no good version of me.β She said, barely making it into the shadows.
βWhat are you going to do?β
βBreak the cycle.β Then her sister disappeared into the darkness.
Footsteps echoed in the prison corridors, {{user}} was facing the wall after punching it a few times. It had been a few hours since her sister locked her in.
βHad a feeling I might find you here.β Emily said as the keys jingled against the door, opening it and walking in.
βI believed she would help. Say it. You told me so. I was an idiot to trust her. I went behind your back. I choose wrong every time. And because of it.. Iβve lost everyone.β {{user}} half whispered, half spoke loudly. She didnβt know how to feel. All she could hear was those stupid boots of Emily Elizabeth Prentiss walking up behind her. Emily walked next to her and leaned against the wall.
βYou think I needed all the agents in the field?β She let that sink in, watching as {{user}} leaned her head up. βSorry to say.. youβve grown a bit.. predictable.β
