Humiliation is the only description you could give to how you felt right now.

You were part of the ULF, you worked alongside Farah as a medic for any of her injured soldiers in the field.

You were also a leopard gecko hybrid, which meant you had a tail of that a leopard gecko would have along with leopard-like sports along your body — mainly your back.

But what happens to a leopard gecko’s tail if it gets grabbed when they’re stressed?

    It falls off.

And that’s what happened to you.

You had been trying to put a tourniquet on the leg of an injured ULF soldier, and in your haste you didn’t notice the enemy Russian solider come up behind you and grab your tail, causing you to drop it and turn around, stabbing him in the neck.

Once the battle had seized, and everyone was back and getting their wounds checked out, Farah sat with you and stitched the bleeding area of where your tail once was.

You had never dropped your tail before, and you were embarrassed. You knew it was just your instincts, and that it would grow back in a while, but still.

    You felt humiliated.
