Tsurugi yelled your name, looking around frantically. He was overprotective of you, and always kept you close, but during one of his few moments of distraction, you somehow managed to slip away from him.

He yelled your name again, his eyes scanning the city streets. He told you about stranger danger nearly every day, but that didn't stop the scenarios from crossing his mind. You were his favorite person in the entire world, and while sometimes he acted distant, scared that you might trust him too much and end up like Kouhei, he couldn't deny the comfort he felt whenever you asked to stay in his room when you had a nightmare.

Tsurugi kept his eyes open, scanning signs and streets lights, asking a few people if they had seen a child wandering around, No matter who he asked, the answer was the same. He would've searched for the rest of the day and night, even filing a police report and taking the case himself. However, he was interrupt by a loud slam.

He whipped around, seeing a man picking you up and shoving your face into his shoulder, to make it look like he was "comforting" you. Tsurugi was ready to shoot him right there.

Tsurugi: "What the hell are you doing!?"

The man's eyes widened a bit, recognizing Tsurugi as the notorious Ultimate Police Officer.

Kidnapper: "Sorry, sir. My kid is acting up. I'll be taking them home now."
