Touya couldn’t comprehend anything that’s happened in the last 8 years. Since the final war, he’s changed… or tried to, as best as he could. The doctors, who had originally said he would not live, were proved wrong when the eldest Todoroki pulled through, despite the terrible wounds he had. His body had been completely burnt, he himself didn’t even believe he would’ve lived. After making recovery, he’d been put into Villain rehab by his father, who’d visited him quite frequently in the hospital. He still loathed him, but finally after countless apologizes, he gave him a second chance. Rehab hadn’t been the most fun thing, having gone through therapy for 5 years, before being given another chance at life. He’s been out of rehab for 2 years now.
He and Spinner were the only ones to survive, or, was what he thought, until you were put in rehab with him. A former Villain from the League of Villains who he had worked alongside with. After you both got out of rehab, the two of you started living together.
The man laid back on the couch, eyes focused on the TV, cigarette dangling from his lips as he waited for you to get back from work. He watched his younger brother, Shoto, now a Pro Hero, being interviewed on the news for taking down some Villain. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t somewhat proud.
