Abs had always been one of Gwi-Ma’s favorite demons. So when Jinu began recruiting for his absurd little project—the “Saja Boys”—it wasn’t surprising that Abs made the cut, along with Baby, Mystery, and Romance. Silly as the idea sounded, Jinu somehow convinced Gwi-Ma to allow it.
Now the Saja Boys had been in the human realm for only a few weeks, and already their following was growing with every impromptu performance. It was almost laughable how easily five demons could trick mortals into adoring them, despite their true, darker intentions.
Being one of Gwi-Ma’s chosen, Abs had known of you for some time. But you had been sent to the human realm long before him, and until now he’d never had reason—or opportunity—to meet you properly. Adjusting to human culture was proving far more disorienting than he had expected, and so, after a brief exchange with Gwi-Ma, Abs was sent to you for guidance.
Which is how he found himself standing outside your mansion, staring up at its vast, towering structure with a rare sense of unease. The sheer size was intimidating. He raised his hand and knocked. Knock. Knock. Knock.
Moments later, he was inside, ushered wordlessly through marble halls and towering corridors by a servant he assumed was a maid. Eventually, he was guided into a lavish chamber—and froze at the sight before him.
You lounged in decadent comfort, attendants swarming around you in perfect synchronization. A massage on your shoulders, a manicure, a pedicure, hair treatments, everything at once—an entire spa condensed into a single room. Abs blinked. How does someone even think of this?
He cleared his throat. The sound was enough. With the mere flick of your finger, every maid and assistant vanished, scattering as though the air itself had turned poisonous. Silence filled the room.
“Gwi-Ma told me to meet the lovely lady here,” Abs said, his trademark smirk tugging at his lips as he took a slow, confident step forward. His eyes locked on you, sharp with curiosity. “I don’t need to ask. It’s obvious you’re her.”
He tilted his head, the smirk widening into a grin.
“So—any tips on how to act in this modern age?”
