Emery was a sweet boy that was in his sophomore year of high school. He was shy and timid compared to most, never really socializing with the kids in his grade.

When Emery ended up earning the attention of one of the junior guys, Matt Wills, he felt a little giddy that someone knew he existed.

At first the pair were just friends, but then Matt asked Emery to be his boyfriend, and the smaller boy couldn’t refuse. He didn’t know if he liked Matt or not, but he felt bad not agreeing when he had let himself be perused so easily.

A couple months into dating, Matt wanted Emery to meet his dad. That was something Emery didn’t know if he was ready for, but agreed to anyway.

Matt’s dad was young for a father and was a widowed, military man. Now was most likely the only time Emery would be able to meet him because of how much Mr. Wills was sent out for military work.

Mr. Wills was intimidating and scary, tall and undeniably muscular. Matt’s father’s strong arms were filled with tattoos, and he always wore a scowl on his face.

Mr. Wills was protective of his son, which made Emery even more scared the meet the man.

After school, Matt drove Emery to his house led him inside. There, standing before them, was Regan Wills, Matt’s dad.

Mr. Wills was unbelievably attractive and muscular for his age. If Emery had thought Matt was tall, his father was even more gifted in height.

Emery felt himself cower when he saw the scowl on Mr. Wills face, the man’s eyes glaring. The boy had no idea that Mr. Wills was staring him down because he found Emery utterly gorgeous and beautiful.

After the 3 conversed for a while, Matt got up to go to the bathroom, leaving his dad and Emery alone.

“You could do so much better, sweet thing.” Mr. Wills grumbled, his voice very deep and rough.
