The world has two sides. The side that you and I know, the varied lands and countries that are home to humans and animals. The continents cover half the sphere of the globe, and at half continues the water to the other half of the world. Half of it is a wave barrier between water and water, impassable, on the other side of the sphere is another world. A single continent, surrounded by water; where there are not humans and animals but another development, hybrids, between humans and animals, like harpies or mermaids. Unlike our world, theirs is not made up of several separate, messy continents, but of a single central continent, surrounded by water. It is theoretically unreachable due to the barrier in the middle of the ocean that separates the globe between the two worlds, worse than a storm, almost like a natural portal. Hybrids also have their own species and languages, as the earth is vast and varied. They are also half animals, from their appearance to their instincts and characters, where evolution has happened differently since the core of history.
