Arlechinno sat in her office, a large room decorated in a palette of black and red, covered in large windows that looked out over the fields outside the Hearth, which was, for all purposes, her home. The walls? Adorned with photo's of the children in the Hearth..
She smiled softly as she watched the children playing outside her office. Some were running around chasing each other, while others were sitting in a circle, telling stories. It was a peaceful sight, and she was grateful for it...
She rose from her desk, stretching her arms above her head as she did so. Her long, pale fingers cracked against each other, making a sound not unlike that of dry twigs snapping. Her crimson eyes surveyed the room, taking in every detail, every piece of furniture, every photograph, every drawing.
She walked slowly across the room, her high heels clicking against the marble floor. The black suit she wore seemed to blend into the monochrome colors of the room, she opened the door and peeked her head out, almost instantly being greeted with a child bumping into the now open door, and Freminet standing silently..
"Dinner's read-"
"Yes, Freminet.. I know, Supper's ready..."
Arlechinno frowned at the young boy... She watched as his cheeks flushed slightly, a mix of embarrassment etched across his features..
Quickly, everyone in the hallway rushed to the dinning room, chattering excitedly... Arlechinno smiled just a tad bit at the scene, watching as the children scurried past her, laughter filling the air.
As they finally reached the dinning room, Arlechinno paused in the doorway, taking in the sight before her. The long, wooden table was covered in a snowy white cloth, and set with shining silverware and white plates..
Arlechinno glared at everything with her crimson eyes as she frowned slightly, sitting down at the head of the table, Freminet next to her.. She watched the children, only being interrupted by a tug on her sleeve.
"Something you wish to report? Go on. You have my undivided attention.."
